Military Financial Aid
American InterContinental University will offer assistance to make Financial Aid a seamless process for our military students. We have a dedicated team of Financial Aid Advisors who specialize in assisting military students with maximizing their benefits.
The financial aid process is an important consideration for many college students. Your military branch or the Veteran’s Administration (depending on the type of military benefits being sought) will be the ultimate decision maker in determining and approving the benefits for which you may qualify, including:

The AIU Freedom Grant
AIU has established a grant for all active duty and drilling members of the U.S. military and their immediate family members attending an AIU ground campus. For details and eligibility requirements, click here.

The AIU Online Veterans Grant

VA Education Benefits
Students that are eligible to use their VA education benefits can use these benefits while in attendance with AIU. If you are interested in finding out more about your benefit options or want to begin the application process, please visit the VA’s education website at www.gibill.va.gov.

Federal Student Aid
The U.S. Department of Education, through Title IV of the Higher Education Act, provides students with excellent resources to fund their education. AIU participates in a wide variety of these federal grant and loan programs and ensures that all eligible students have equal access to federal financial aid. To learn more about federal student aid, please visit the www.college.gov site.
To begin the process of applying for federal student aid, you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) accessible via the www.fafsa.ed.gov site. When filling out your FAFSA, you will need to input the AIU school code: 014720.
