LONDON (May 21, 2010) ‐ American InterContinental University (AIU) London will be hosting its 2010 Graduate Fashion Show and marketing exhibition to press and trade on 27 May at One Marylebone at 4:30 p.m. for 5 p.m. The event features the work of the top graduates receiving a B.A. in fashion design or fashion design and marketing, and provides a snapshot of the talent produced by AIU London this year.

The runway will feature 14 collections of AIU London students from North and South America, the Middle East and Europe with ground-breaking design work that embodies the most progressive international attitudes. Inspirations range from feminine romanticism with delicate draping and pastel hues to military armour, vintage textiles as a sustainable source and retro-futuristic design.

Tickets are £10, with all fashion show proceeds going to Esther Benjamin Trust, Remembering Nepal's Forgotten Children.

Gill Stark, dean of fashion, AIU London said "This showcase is the first of many for our international graduates, and we hope their experience at AIU London helps them and others realise their talent. I'm looking forward to watching their careers unfold as they become the designers of the future."

Internationally recognised for the quality of the programs, industry involvement and high quality graduates, AIU London is situated in the heart of the fashion industry and for 35 years has been preparing students for opportunities in fashion. The school's fashion department also teaches optional modules in Paris.

AIU London fashion students have gone on to achievements such as winning Sky 1's Project Runway and successfully carving careers at Matthew Williamson London; Hugo Boss, Copenhagen; Ralph Lauren, New York and Vivienne Westwood, London.
