Mini fashion show, family activities, food and more

Weston, Fla. – Want to learn to build games for your Xbox 360, design an e-commerce web site, learn how to investigate a crime scene, or discover tips to go “green?” American InterContinental University South Florida (AIU SF) will host an open house on Saturday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that will include exciting workshops, food, family activities, student music and dance presentations and a student mini-fashion show.

See AIU SF’s departments in action during workshops including:

  • Game Development and Design: How to build games for the Xbox 360
  • Interior Design: How to go green and how to select a color scheme
  • Criminal Justice: CSI workshop – How to investigate a crime scene
  • IT: How to create an e-commerce website
  • Media Production: How to create audio and sound recordings
  • Visual Communication: How to create a trademarked design logo
  • Business: How to become an entrepreneur
  • Fashion: How to sew in 10 minutes

Registration for the workshops is at 9:30 a.m. in the lobby of AIU, located at 2250 N. Commerce Parkway in Weston.

Guests at the open house can learn about career opportunities and the admissions process from the professionals in each of AIU SF’s academic divisions, receive financial aid information and tour AIU SF’s beautiful campus. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.

AIU offers bachelor’s degree programs in business administration, information technology, criminal justice, visual communication, media production, game design and development, interior design and fashion marketing and design. Master’s degree programs include business administration, informational technology and education in instructional technology.
