Military Times Edge Ranks AIU in the Top 100 Colleges for Vets

October 29, 2010

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (Oct. 29, 2010) - American InterContinental University (AIU), a leading provider of career-focused education,  has been selected as a Best College for Vets according to a list published by Military Times Edge magazine.  Out of 4,000 schools invited to participate in the survey, AIU ranked number 91.

“Having AIU included on this list is a testament to our continued service and commitment to our military student population,” said Richard Kennedy, AIU director of military relations.  “We do our best to meet the needs of our veteran students and I’m thrilled to see we are being so well received.”

Each school was evaluated on four criteria: financial assistance, academic flexibility, campus culture and support services for veterans. The magazine rated schools on a star ranking system, with a maximum ranking of five stars for each specific criterion.

Military Times Edge magazine provides information to military service members who are transitioning or who have recently transitioned from active duty to veteran status. This is the first year the magazine has conducted the survey.
