Operations Managers plan, direct or coordinate all facets of an organization's business. Their diverse responsibilities may include the formulating of policies, management of daily operations or planning the appropriate use of materials and human resources.
The goal of the MBA with a specialization in Operations Management is to enable students to build a market-relevant combination of comprehensive business studies and real-world applications in operations management.
In this business-focused curriculum, students can learn qualities critical to operations management professionals, including leadership, self-confidence, motivation, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment and determination.
The AIU MBA with a specialization in Operations Management offers students an opportunity to examine operations management issues and methods used to gain a competitive advantage. In this program, students can learn how to:
