Bilingual Learning

While America is still behind in its efforts to increase the overall number of polyglots, the trends prove that citizens, at least, understand the value of multilingualism. Studies indicate the benefits of a bilingual brain reach far beyond professional advancement – multi-linguals also enjoy increased problem solving skills, cognitive capabilities and defenses against diseases such as dementia. Furthermore, students who study at least one other language seem to have higher standard test scores, understand literature and language better and have higher GPAs.
