History of College

People have sought out higher learning since circa 800 A.D. But that's about the only thing that has remained the same. From who is enrolling to which degree programs are offered to where the best degree programs are located, education has vastly changed. The infographic below showcases many of those changes. Degrees titles have evolved from "Master" to "Doctor." The degrees themselves have gone from those focusing on "rhetoric" to focusing on "computer science." More women now enroll and graduate than men. People no longer even need to "go" to college as online education becomes more readily available from accredited universities such as American Intercontinental University. Educational options in this modern era are nearly limitless.
