AIU London – Student Housing
University housing is available to all AIU London students. These apartments differ in architectural style, size and neighborhood, yet all provide a safe and comfortable environment close to campus facilities. Students have the option of choosing shared housing or private room plans.
-
Shared Housing Plans – Two or three students share a bedroom, combining the social benefits of dormitory-style living with the freedom and independence of apartment life.
-
Private Housing Plans – Students preferring more privacy may choose to have their own single bedroom within a multi-bedroom unit.
Whichever option you choose, apartment units (also known as “flats” in London) will have fully furnished and equipped kitchens, bathroom(s) and communal living areas. Included are a refrigerator, stove, microwave, cookware, dishes and flatware.
Bedrooms contain a single bed or ¾ double bed, wardrobe and nightstand for each student. Students are also provided with bed linens, pillows, sheets and one set of towels. Laundry facilities are located in each housing location and a basic weekly cleaning service is included.
Most accommodations have a Resident Assistant (RA) living onsite or nearby who visit regularly to ensure the flats are being well maintained. Additionally, housing staff and security personnel are "on call" 24 hours a day to respond to and handle any unexpected emergencies.
