AIU London School of Business students and staff visit Chelsea Stadium in West London, January 2012.On Friday, January 27th, 2012, students in the AIU London School of Business Introduction to Business and Introduction to International Business classes visited the world-famous stadium of Chelsea Football Club in West London. The purpose of the visit was to learn how a successful sports organisation, like the Chelsea Football Club, operates in the modern world.

During the visit, students and staff members were given insight into many aspects of the club’s operation, including breakdowns of how the Chelsea Football Club raises its income and uses this money to create a team that regularly competes for top European honours. The group then toured Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge Stadium, where students had chance to view first-hand the facilities that make Chelsea Football Club one of the world’s leading soccer teams.
