AIU Atlanta Professor to Premiere Film on Campus

AIU Atlanta Professor Kat Cheairs premieres AIDS/HIV documentary.This Saturday, AIU Media Production professor Katherine "Kat" Cheairs will premiere her documentary Ending Silence, Shame & Stigma: HIV/AIDS in the African American Family to a sold out crowd at the AIU Atlanta campus. Ending Silence is the culmination of a five-year effort to bring to light the stories of African Americans who have been affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

"The African American community has been disproportionately impacted by this global pandemic and I seek to do my part in raising awareness around this vitally important topic," Professor Cheairs writes.
