Technology professionals are often welcoming to aspiring IT graduates and willing to pass on their knowledge. Whether it’s online or in person, the national technology organizations you join could benefit your future:

Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP)

A leading worldwide organization for information technology professionals, AITP welcomes IT enthusiasts of all levels. You can join through a student membership before you graduate and later upgrade your membership as a professional. AITP focuses on offering resources and knowledge that motivate and empower technology members to meet their potentials.

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)

With a student, professional, or lifetime membership, computing individuals can access the publications, libraries, activities, professional opportunities, committees, and more available through ACM.
