AIU Atlanta Celebrates Graduation at Atlanta Civic Center

AIU Atlanta GraduatesA total of 278 graduates received their diploma from AIU in the recent graduation ceremony held in Atlanta, GA. Almost a third of the students were from the Atlanta campus, and the remaining two-thirds were Online students.

The ceremony was held at the Atlanta Civic Center. Over half of the students in attendance received their Bachelor's degree, and Degrees in Business Administration were the most common with 197 Business degrees awarded.

  • CEC's Senior Vice President & Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer Tony Mitchell delivered the commencement address, and Provost & Vice President for Campus Operations Dr. Greg Washington officiated the conferral of degrees.

    A graduation reception was held the night prior to the graduation on Oct. 25 for the soon-to-be-graduates to celebrate.

    AIU Atlanta President Peter C. Correa said, "I thank everyone for making all this happen pursuant to our collective quest to enhance lives through education."

    I thank AIU very much though iam not one of the graduate but have given me information about the AIU.I applied admission last two years and could not make it because of money but on and on i ll be there. thank you.
