Success at AIU Online
AIU Online has approximately 80,000 graduates all around the world and the University is proud of the outcomes which they have achieved. Not only have our graduates focused on the academic content of their programs, but they have also expressed satisfaction with their learning experience. Here are some selected highlights.
Student Satisfaction
Before attending AIU Online, our graduates may have experienced a variety of obstacles to getting ahead in life.
One of the reasons our satisfaction rates are so high is that at AIU Online, we support our students. And we seek their feedback so we can know if we're doing the things that we can to make their experience at AIU Online the best it can be. In recent surveys, we asked students to rate us in several areas and we're very proud of what they told us. Of those who responded, 89% of them said they were satisfied with their overall experience at AIU Online and 89% told us their instructors demonstrated strong knowledge of the course content (as of 10/2010). That's high praise from the people we value most.

Student Experience
AIU Online surpasses our competitors in the services we provide. In our quest to demonstrate the quality of our education, we recently partnered with Noel-Levitz to see how we compare against some of our direct competitors who also took the survey, namely the Ashford University, DeVry, Excelsior, and several others. 74% of AIU Online students replied that so far their college experience has been better than they expected, compared to only 63% of our peer group. Additionally, 86% of AIU Online students are satisfied with their experience so far, compared to 83% of our peer group.

A two question survey was sent to all students and alumni, asking them to rank on a scale of 0-10 how likely they are to recommend AIU Online to a friend or colleague. An astounding 64% of students said 9 or 10, and 53% of alumni ranked 9 or 10 as well (as of 05/2010).

Alumni Career Paths
The majority of AIU graduates from the Online campus have gone on to varied careers. We say congratulations to all of them, and to all of our current students who are on their way toward having their own success stories to share in the future. AIU Online is proud of our students graduating, and looking towards their future. Our degree programs are engaging and career-focused. Many of our instructors are professionals in their fields. Our student body is culturally rich. Our staff is supportive, and many of our alumni are in or on their way toward their goals.
