AIU Study Abroad Program – Pre-Departure Checklists

Once you have determined that the AIU Study Abroad Program matches your interests, meets your needs and motivates you to pursue international travel and learning, it will be important for you to complete and submit certain documents by specified deadlines.

Upon program acceptance, the AIU Study Abroad Office stays in close contact with you to finalize the details of your study abroad experience. You will be required to submit housing forms, proof of insurance, medical forms, passport copies, your flight itinerary and tuition payment information. We’ll be with you every step of the way to make sure all things are in order prior to your departure.

It is very important to review the checklists on this page to ensure you are keeping up with submissions of the required documentation, which is also included in your Planning Binder. Once you have completed these items and made financial arrangements for payment, your file will be complete and you can be confirmed for your chosen program.
