Program Policies – Grade Appeal

Procedures are in place to enable students in the AIU Study Abroad Program to request the review of a course grade. The grade appeals process is outlined in the Student Handbook that students receive during orientation.

If you have questions about a grade you received in a class that was part of the AIU Study Abroad Program, you may request a breakdown of the grade and an explanation provided by the instructor. In your request, be sure to include your name, contact information, course number, name of the instructor and the grade received.

If you receive the grade explanation and would like to appeal the grade, you must formally petition the grade through AIU London. All grade appeals must be submitted NO LATER than one quarter [term] subsequent to enrollment in the course for which the appeal is made.
