Many of the links listed on this page are not under the control of the AIU Study Abroad Program. • CMI Insurance has over 25 years of experience providing a variety of specialized travel insurance products including study abroad insurance for students who are exploring educational opportunities outside the USA.
• ABCO100 - A division of Group U.S., Inc. specializing in student, international and travel insurance.
• Insurance Consultants International provides "affordable" medical coverage to all types of study abroad teachers and students, expatriates, international travelers, overseas retirees, immigrants, U.S. and non-U.S. citizens, corporations, missionaries, and humanitarian organizations.
• International Plans a unit of Marsh Affinity Group Services, offers a full range of insurance services to individuals and to sponsoring organizations. STA Travel is the world's largest student travel organization helping students travel in over 90 countries. They are dedicated to providing young people with products and services that make travel fun, affordable and safe.
• International Student Organization (ISO) is a membership organization for international students who are currently studying in the USA, and for American students studying abroad. Founded in 1958, ISO was established as a solution to the particular needs of international students. They concentrate their efforts on students who are looking for comprehensive medical insurance with minimum out-of-pocket expenses.

Immigration Planning - UK Entry

• BritainUSA - aims to answer the questions most frequently asked in the United States about Britain and provide up-to-date government comment on current events.
• UK Visas runs the UK's visa service through British diplomatic posts overseas. This site provides information on whether a visa is needed to enter the UK, and, if so, how to apply for one.
• UK Visa Online Applications – This official British government site lets students apply for a visa and book your visa appointment online.
• British Council - promotes a wider knowledge of the United Kingdom abroad and attempts to develop closer cultural relations between the United Kingdom and other countries.

• French Ministry of Foreign Affairs - provides visa information for individuals visiting France.

Safety

• Overseas Citizens Services Tips for Students - Advice to students on how to prepare for a safe experience abroad, and descriptions of services the U.S. Department of State can provide.
