Classes begin June 3, 2007.
As a generation of Baby Boomers continues to age, the healthcare industry is expanding to meet the demand for qualified professionals with real-world knowledge and skills. Technicians with a strong background in medical coding are expected to be in particularly high demand.
To help meet the demand, AIU Online has added a concentration in Medical Coding and Billing to its real-world Associate of Arts in Business Administration (AABA) degree program. This concentration is designed to provide students with the career-focused knowledge and skills they can use to take advantage of an increasing number of employment opportunities in the dynamic healthcare industry.
Successful graduates will have acquired the industry-current credentials to pursue a diverse range of career opportunities, including Medical Records Specialist, Patient Services Coordinator, Health Care Technician, Insurance Verification Representative and many others.
The AABA with a concentration in Medical Coding and Billing is accepting applications now for classes scheduled to start on June 3, 2007.
