The Educational Alliances Center (EAC) is proud to announce that Frank Provenzano, Senior National Account Manager, EAC was recently honored with the REACh consortium’s President’s Award for outstanding leadership. Throughout Frank’s tenure with Career Education Corporation (CEC), he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in building strong brand awareness for American InterContinental University (AIU). Frank’s deep involvement with REACh showcases the mission of the EAC, which is to attract new students by creating and maintaining valuable relationship-based educational alliances with corporations, organizationsand academic institutions.
REACh (the Resources for the Education of Adults in the Chicago Area) is a non-profit consortium organized as a collaborative effort to provide adults easier access to information about educational and financial aid opportunities. REACh members include academic institutions, financial institutions and civic minded corporations. The association was formally incorporated in 1988 and has grown to include approximately 50 member institutions throughout the greater Chicago metropolitan area.
Frank has been involved with REACh since 2005. From the onset, Frank took a leadership role as Membership Chair (2005-2007). Frank served as President from 2007-2010. The President’s Award was established to recognize a REACh member who exhibits high level leadership and dedication in helping the organization obtainits goals of making a difference for adults seeking higher education. REACh members are asked to nominate one member per year for the award.
In addition to having served as President, Frank served as the Fundraising Chair during 2010-2011. Frank continues to be a committed leader within the organization and currently services on the Board of Directors. “I enjoy being part of this great organization and have learned so much over the years. Leading the organization for 3 years was very fulfilling and rewarding” said Frank.
