Honor Societies and Honor Cords

AIU students who achieve success in their studies can be eligible to join honor societies and receive honor cords. These honors are a way to recognize the academic achievement of AIU students in their field of study. Honor societies offer an excellent opportunity for successful students to network and build relationships with others in their industry. Students who study Business or Information Technology and meet the eligibility requirements have the opportunity to join an honor society. In addition, students who finish their studies with the required GPA and attend a physical graduation ceremony will receive honor cords, which publicly recognize a student's academic accomplishments.
