Health & Wellness Benefits
As a full-time employee of Career Education, you have the opportunity to participate in one of three different medical plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield. The plans provide comprehensive coverage for you and your family. Under this plan, you will have access to a wide network of providers through a PPO network plus the flexibility to use medical providers outside the network.. This program includes preventive care services covered at 100% and prescription drug coverage.
Full-time employees can choose to enroll in one of two comprehensive dental plans covering a variety of eligible expenses for preventive, diagnostic, restorative care and orthodontia.
Full-time employees can choose to enroll in one of two vision-care plans which provides routine annual eye exams, frame/lens allowance and access to a broad network of large retailers and independent providers.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Participation in a flexible spending plan allows full-time employees the ability to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified out-of-pocket expenses related to health care, dependent care or commuting.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
Depending on the medical plan selected, full-time employees may be eligible to participate in a health savings account. Career Education makes a contribution to these accounts for eligible employees.

Saving for Your Future
Career Education helps you prepare for your financial future by offering a match on your contributions to the 401(k) plan Eligible employees receive 50% match on the first 2% of before-tax 401(k) contributions they make into the plan. For the next 4% contributed, the company matches with a contribution of 25 cents on the dollar.
Employees choose from a wide selection of investment alternatives, including target retirement funds, which are pre-allocated funds based on your anticipated retirement date that automatically become more conservative as you approach retirement.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Employees can purchase shares of CEC Company stock (NASDAQ: CECO) at a 5 percent discount off the market price, up to 10 percent of your base salary at the end of each calendar quarter.

We offer full-time employees short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employer-provided short-term disability coverage is automatic and becomes effective after one year of employment. Employees have the option to purchase voluntary short-term disability during the first year of employment. Long-term disability coverage is employer provided and is automatic.
