This marks the fourth time Professor Johnson has been nominated, with two previous final round acknowledgements. Known for his outgoing classroom style, energetic lectures, and intriguing classroom dialogues, Professor Johnson represents AIU in one of the most educationally saturated areas in the nation.

Hailing from the green hills of Ireland, Professor Johnson has taught general education courses at the AIU Houston campus for seven years, as well as teaching online classes for four years. Education is key to his life dream and enriching the lives of his students is a mission he takes as seriously as his service to his country.
