On Sunday, November 4, the AIU Atlanta learning community gathered to attend the Fashion for Foster Care fundraiser event at the Academy of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Student and alumni designers featured their latest creations to raise money for a good cause. Proceeds from the event benefited the Foster Care Support Foundation (www.fostercares.org).
The Fashion for Foster Care event took place in the historic Academy of Medicine building, recently restored by Georgia Tech University to its original Neo Classical splendor.
Attendees from AIU included Peter C. Correa, AIU Atlanta campus president, and his wife Charlene, as well as AIU Atlanta fashion department program chairs and faculty including Sondra Corso, Elena Pitts and Neal Vipperman.

"In short, this was a superb event that allowed our students and graduates the opportunity to gain some great exposure as well as some valuable experience," said Correa. "Hats off to everyone for making this happen and for making it happen in support of such a great cause."

Additionally, AIU Atlanta Media Production students took part in filming the event.
