Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): Specialization in Entrepreneurship

This Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree program features a specialization in Entrepreneurship that could provide a solid background in business fundamentals, followed by an in-depth study of entrepreneurship. The Bachelor of Business Administration degree program combines the required General Education courses that can provide liberal arts foundation with a coherent business core that is designed to provide a foundation for careers in business and management or preparation for advanced study. The upper division program builds on the lower division curriculum.

Successful completion of the BBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship can provide students with an applicable foundation of industry-related knowledge and skills, including how to:

  • Examine the legal environment and various challenges of managing modern organizations.
  • Understand that the main responsibilities of manager or supervisor are to lead their teams and to provide the motivation and skills to achieve organizational goals.
  • Understand the social implications and use and evaluation of common microcomputer software packages.
  • Understand negotiation tactics and strategy, ethical work environments and legal compliance.
  • Understand contracting and procurement activities within a global supply chain organization.
