CLEP Test

The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) is a program allowing you to take exams and get college credit for what you've already learned from your eligible military experience, training or independent study. These exams grant eligible college credit toward your degree at AIU Online to meet general education requirements such as Math, English, Science, Business, foreign languages and many others.

You must receive a passing score on all CLEP tests if you want them to be considered for transfer credit and you can take CLEP examinations as many times as you need. However, if you don't receive a passing score on an examination, you must wait six months before retaking the same test. Also, please ensure that you meet the university's deadline regarding CLEP tests.
