CLEP

AIU allows students to earn credits for courses taken outside of AIU or for professional experience through the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP). To earn credits through CLEP, students must submit a copy of an official CLEP score report to be evaluated for this proficiency credit award.

CLEP is a nationally recognized examination designed to evaluate the student's prior professional and academic experience, making it applicable for earning college credit. As a registered CLEP credit-granting institution, AIU can help you choose which CLEP examinations are applicable to your program, in turn helping you move more quickly through your degree program.

To find CLEP examination centers in your immediate area, consult www.collegeboard.com. Students are also encouraged to see the AIU Student Handbook for more information on submission requirements for CLEP examinations.
