1. Connect with an AIU Re-entry Advisor.

You may be eligible for AIU’s re-entry process if you previously attended AIU but didn’t graduate.

Returning students can work with our dedicated re-entry teams to assist them with the necessary steps to complete to come back to school.

To get started, call our Re-entry Advisors at 877-701-3800 ext. 13782, or click here to send an email.

2. Complete the online application.

The application is quick, and easy and there is no submission fee.

Be ready to tell us:

  • Basic information about yourself
  • Where you’ve gone to high school and/or college
  • The degree program you’re interested in

Don’t forget to create an account, so you can save your progress.

Once you're enrolled at AIU Online, it’s time to get ready for classes to start. These are the next steps you’ll want to take.

3. Apply for financial aid.

Returning students who want to apply for financial aid need to complete the FAFSA application. Once the FAFSA is processed, our financial aid team can provide information on funding that you may qualify for. Check with your advisor to make sure your current FAFSA is on file.

Start your financial aid application as soon as possible so that you’re ready to go when the new term begins.
