AIU is proud to offer the Distinguished Alumni Award, which recognizes AIU graduates for their professional and academic achievements after completing their degree at AIU.
If you’ve made a significant contribution to your community or experienced academic and professional accomplishments as a result of your degree from American InterContinental University, we want to hear from you.
The recipient selected to be the American InterContinental University Online Distinguished Alumnus will be flown to the graduation ceremony to receive his or her award.
How to Make a Nomination
Step 1: Complete the form on this page.
Summarize how receiving a degree from AIU helped you grow, both personally and professionally. Take your time, as your responses will be sent directly on to the alumni selection committee. If you feel more comfortable, you may type your responses into a text editor and copy and paste them into the appropriate boxes.
Step 2: Get one or more letters of recommendation.
Please submit one, or a maximum of two, letter(s) of recommendation. The letters should be written by professional or personal acquaintances that account for your achievements and share why you are deserving of the award. Recommendation letters should be submitted along with your resume to email@example.com.
Step 3: Send us your resume.
Please send your current resume, with your name and Student ID number, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Alumni Services will confirm receipt of your complete nomination. The alumni selection committee will review all applications shortly after the established deadline. We look forward to receiving your information and hearing about the great work you are accomplishing!
