AIU to Honor Military Graduates at Navy Pier Ceremony

On Saturday, August 24th, American InterContinental University will host its annual graduation commencement ceremony at Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois, conferring degrees upon more than 250 graduates of its ground campus and online degree programs. While in the past AIU has honored graduates with a military background during the ceremony verbally and with the presentation of a color guard, this year the university will take an additional step to honor those who have served our country.

For the first time this year, AIU will award active duty and veteran graduates with the Americana Military Cord. These cords, in the traditional red, white, and blue colors of the American flag, will serve as a way to distinguish and recognize the service of our military graduates.
