AIU Houston Prepares for Annual Alaska Study Tour

As summer approaches, one professor at AIU's Houston campus is gearing up for a busy June.

Each year, AIU Houston Professor Dr. Martha Culbreth journeys with a group of AIU students and alumni for a study tour aboard Celebrity Cruises to visit beautiful Alaska and British Columbia. But the tour isn't just a vacation getaway for attendees. Students and alumni will take part in several learning activities along with the knowledge that comes inherently from traveling abroad.

Starting their tour in Anchorage, the group will visit Seward, Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strai Point, Ketchikan, Inside Passage, and conclude the cruise in Vancouver, British Columbia. Activities include multiple morning and evening photo shoots, photography workshops, on-board entertainment, naturalist presentations, and an optional tour on Bainbridge Island (for an additional cost).

The tour runs from June 10th through June 24rd, travel to Alaska and from Vancouver included.

Interested parties should contact Professor Culbreth for tour price and other information immediately as space is limited.
