  • In this specialized curriculum students can immerse themselves in the study of how international trade and finance policies and relations affect business decisions. Students can learn how to adapt market strategies for international markets and construct management practices and processes in an international environment.

    This real-world specialization offers the opportunity for in-depth study with more than half of your courses in your area of interest. It can help you develop a focused, industry-relevant knowledge base common to today's international business professionals. For example:

    • In Global Leadership and Management, students will be provided a framework for formulating strategies in an increasingly complex world economy and for making those strategies work effectively.
    • In International Corporate Finance, students analyze financial problems corporations face that result from operating in an international environment. Major topics covered include: corporate strategy, forecasting exchange rates, international portfolio diversification, taxation issues and financial structure in multinational firms.
    • In International Trade Operations, students consider current theories and practical consequences of international trade. The course examines a variety of forms of commercial policy as a means of regulating trade. Other topics include the domestic consequences of exchange rates on organizations, international trade conflicts and relevant theories of international trade.
