AIU Ranked Among Military Times Best for Vets
AIU has been named among the Military Times “Best for Vets: Colleges 2021” which is the largest and most comprehensive rankings of schools for military service members and veterans. For ten years, Military Times has conducted an editorially independent, objective study evaluating the many factors that help make colleges and universities a good fit for service members, military veterans and their families. This year’s survey was a streamlined and improved version.

American InterContinental University was named among the “Top Colleges & Universities" in the Military Advanced Education 2017 Guide to Colleges and Universities. The accolade recognizes the universities for their dedication to making higher education accessible to military members, veterans and their families in four key areas: military culture, support services (including online support), financial services and flexibility.
2016 Learning Impact Award Winner
AIU’s Virtual Classroom earned a Gold Medal at the IMS Global 2016 Learning Impacts Awards, which honor the most powerful and influential uses of technology worldwide in support of student learning. The program seeks to identify repeatable implementation of "efficient IT" practices that can help institutions and educational authorities increase access, create personalized learning environments, improve student engagement and improve actionable assessment.
2015 Best of ELearning! Award Winner
ELearning! Magazine awarded AIU a 2015 Best of Elearning! Award for intellipath®, the university’s proprietary adaptive learning platform. Recognized in the Best Adaptive Learning Content category, intellipath® customizes the learning experience for individual students’ needs, allowing them to skip over what they already know and focus on what they still need to learn.
