University Safety
American InterContinental University, a member of the American InterContinental University System, takes the safety and security of its students very seriously. From physical security at any AIU campus, to protection of sensitive personal and financial information, AIU has developed a number of policies to ensure a positive and productive student learning experience.
The Annual Security Report includes the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, the Campus Crime Statistics Report, and information about Title IX and AIU's Sexual Harassment Policy Under Title IX. This information is provided to prospective students and employees as required by the U.S. Department of Education.

Non-Discrimination Policy
AIU does not discriminate, or tolerate discrimination against any member of its community on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex/gender, age, religion, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state or local law in matters of admissions or in any aspect of the educational programs or activities it offers. Moreover, consistent with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”), which prohibits sex discrimination in federally funded education programs and activities, the University prohibits sex discrimination and sexual harassment within its education programs and activities.
