Veterans Education Benefits
Post-9/11 G.I. Bill®
Provides up to 36 months of education (four school years) to eligible veterans and service members who have served at least 90 days of active duty since September 10, 2001. Educational benefits can include tuition, fees, books and some living expenses. Learn more
Montgomery G.I. Bill®
Provides up to 36 months of education (four school years) to eligible veterans and to service members who have served at least two years of active duty. Learn more

Veterans Grant
AIU has established a grant for all honorably-discharged veterans of the U.S. military to assist in providing the opportunity to attend a degree program of study at AIU.
AIU Yellow Ribbon Grant
In accordance with the Yellow Ribbon Program, a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008, the University has established a Yellow Ribbon Grant.

With AIU’s MOS Pledge program you can maximize the amount of credit you can receive for your previous military training and experience*.
Transfer-in up to 75% of your qualifying college credits, which can help you save on tuition* and allow you to graduate from a Bachelor's program in as little as 9 months**.
*Transfer credit is evaluated on an individual basis. Not all credits are eligible to transfer. See the University Catalog for transfer credit policies.
**Bachelor’s degree programs are designed as 48 month programs. However; many factors will impact your time to completion, including course loads, proficiency and/or transfer credits and breaks.
